Now on the third single from the flawless Strobelight Seduction album, Kaskade’s popularity only continues to grow. Some are complaining that Kaskade’s collaboration with Deadmau5 on the initial single “Move With Me” has influenced his style to the point of completely abandoning his former deep house sound and replaced it with with a pop progressive house/electro sound, but as long as the music he’s making is as gorgeous and hooky as these singles, who the F cares? After the disappointment of the “Move” remixes, which frankly was too good to be effectively remixed, this 9-track remix package was a welcome trade. The “Angel” mixes include chunky Funkerman rubs, dubby Troydon interpretations, but head straight to the four EDX mixes for the track’s elements folded atop gorgeous progressive trance production.
