All but forgotten (in this country, at least,) since her enormous Max Martin-penned hit "Show Me Love" in 1997, Roby's now been picked up Stateside by Interscope Records with a rugged new sound and hyper-stylized visual presentation. The album's first American single capitalizes on Top 40 radio's recent acceptance of a more electronic sound with hooky vocals and a clever play on words. The self-titled album includes some of the most solid and original pop to be released in years.
